About our founder, Anthony
Our founder is a Northern Vietnamese who relocated to Singapore 15 years ago. Initially, he started his career in financial service before embarking on a different path in coffee and food in 2019.
Born and raised in a typical Vietnamese family in a coastal city - Hai Phong (located alongside the north-eastern coastline of Vietnam, 100km away from Hanoi Capital or 50km away from Ha Long Bay), our founder was fortunate to enjoy home-cooked meals with fresh ingredients from his family's own gardens and livestock barns. This freshness and authenticity seemed to be the missing part that he had always searched for in Singapore to satisfy his crave.
With a great interest in coffee, our founder had since observed the growing coffee trend in Singapore. However, the true sense of Vietnamese coffee seemed to go concealed here. There hadn't been any Vietnamese cafe where there served fresh coffee using 100% coffee origins from Vietnam and authentically good food. A cafe where people could meet, sit and catch up over a cup of coffee in the silky melody of music.
And with that, levie5 was born with a simple mission, to
"introduce authentic Vietnamese culture in coffee and cuisine to the locals in Singapore"
